In January 2026, DOING successfully signed an order with a Colombian customer for a 500kg plastic mini pyrolysis unit and a 500kg mini pyrolysis oil refining unit. This client from Colombia, who is involved in the sorting and recycling of medical waste, is preparing to enter the field of plastic to fuel.

DOING mini plastic pyrolysis unit

Initially, the client's company, through research, learned about the potential of converting waste plastics into usable fuel oil through pyrolysis and refining processes. They contacted DOING company in October 2024 and discussed suitable plastic to fuel unit.
In December 2024, things took a turn. The client's company decided to abandon the planned plastic to fuel project. However, the client was not discouraged and saw the immense business opportunities inherent in the plastic recycling and fuel project. Given the increasing amount of plastic waste and the demand for alternative energy sources, he decided to pursue the project independently.
To support this personal business, DOING Company proposed a solution: a 500kg mini pyrolysis unit paired with a 500kg mini pyrolysis oil refining unit. The mini pyrolysis unit can process 500kg of waste plastic per batch, decomposing it in a controlled pyrolysis reactor to produce pyrolysis oil, carbon black, and syngas. This mini pyrolysis unit is compactly designed, occupying approximately 20 square meters, and is equipped with environmental protection facilities and safety features (such as pressure relief valves), making it ideal for locations with limited space. The accompanying mini pyrolysis oil refining unit can process 500kg batches of crude pyrolysis oil, using distillation and decolorization/deodorization filtration systems to produce clean diesel fuel suitable for diesel engines, boilers, and large machinery. This combined equipment requires only a small number of operators—typically 2-3 people per shift—and supports flexible fuel input, such as wood, coal, or natural gas as heating fuel. The syngas produced during the pyrolysis process can be recycled to heat the pyrolysis process, effectively reducing the use of external fuel.

Advantages of mini waste to fuel unit

Applications of diesel fuel from plastic pyrolysis and refining
Throughout the equipment evaluation process, the Colombian client placed great importance on the reliability and manufacturing quality of the equipment. DOING Company's more than ten years of experience in manufacturing waste pyrolysis units and waste oil refining units provided him with confidence. DOING provided detailed equipment technical specifications. Our pyrolysis unit features a durable material structure, is equipped, maintains a stable oil yield—the pyrolysis oil yield from mixed plastics is approximately 40-45%. Our pyrolysis oil refining unit is equipped with a high-efficiency distillation column and a multi-stage condensation system, which can effectively remove impurities and odors from the pyrolysis oil, achieving a diesel fuel recovery rate of over 85%. By January 2026, after finalizing the order details, the entrepreneur ultimately decided to purchase a 500 kg mini pyrolysis unit and a 500 kg mini pyrolysis oil refining unit.
