It is a thermal decomposition of used tyre polymer, since used tyre are long chain polymers containing more than 50,000 carbon atoms attached to each other in a cross linked or straight chain. Under higher temperature ( about 400 to 450 degree Celsius ), the long china can be broken into smaller molecules of pyrolysis oil, pyrolysis gas, steel wire and carbon black.
Recycling pyrolysis is a great way of recycling large amounts of used tyres. Used tyre rcycling pyrolysis  plant can also used for waste plastic recycling.
