Old engine oil after use

As we know, the best way, also encouraged by government, to manage various kinds of waste is through recycling, which can not only dispose of waste, but also get benefit from the waste recycling process. For e.g. waste tyre and plastic are managed by recycling renewable energy--waste pyrolysis oil, And after further refinery, this pyrolysis oil can be refined into diesel-like fuel. Both waste pyrolysis oil and old engine oil belong to waste oil, and normally old engine oil has best quality among other kinds of waste oil, so to extract diesel-like fuel oil from old engine oil is out of question.

Old engine refined into diesel

Old engine oil is very heavy, it has higher flash point and viscosity than diesel and waste tyre/plastic pyrolysis oil, so, if it is used directly for heating, the heat utilization efficiency is not high, besides there are large quantity of waste residues produced because of inadequate combustion. Therefore, before old engine oil is able to used for heating, it has to be refined into lighter diesel-like fuel with waste oil distillation machine.

The treatment process includes cracking distillation, odor and color removal as well as oil color further removal. The final oil got from old engine oil is pure diesel like fuel, oil standard can be close to China 0# diesel, which can be used as industrial heating energy for steel mill, ceramic factory, cement factory and brick factory, etc. Besides, the output yield of old engine oil to diesel is as high as 85%, so old engine oil is very good waste oil used for recycling to get diesel like fuel.
